Random things I've asked people about

If you ask me, the best thing about this site has been the contributions of the wacky people who visit here from time to time. At some point, well before I had comments on the blog, I started asking people questions, or for contributions to things. For whatever reason, people answered on the following topics.

Survey: Do you judge people by their shoes?
In which people reveal just how important footwear is when determining the worthiness of other humans. This has been the most requested page that is currently resulting in a "page not found" error. Therefore, it goes up first.
Not exactly a survey: The future of advertising
In which I decided that bleeped-out swears in movies will be the next ad space they sell. "They" being the folks who have made it their life's goal to plaster every space possible with messages telling us all how unhappy we are and that if we just buy _____, the emptiness will be filled. For instance, it is clear to me that you would be much happier if you changed shampoos.
Not exactly a survey: Bad date stories
In which we wish we could forget those who have given us evenings to remember.
Survey: Why do you hate Wilford Brimley?
In which we explore the strange phenomenon where Wilford Brimley inexplicably pisses people off. I would like to point out that I have nothing against Wilford Brimley; I'm merely curious as to why other people do.
Survey: Why do you love Wilford Brimley?
In which we explore the strange phenomenon where Wilford Brimley inexplicably makes people feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I would like to point out that I don't looove Wilford Brimley; I'm merely curious as to why other people do.
Not exactly a survey: What the movies have taught us about China
In which we share facts about China we have gleaned from major (or not-so-major) motion pictures.
